Pedal Ahead Kicks Off New Year with First E-Bike Maintenance, Safety and Young Adult Education Program

Pedal Ahead held its first E-Bike Maintenance, Bike Safety and Young Adult Education seminar on Saturday, February at Uptown Bicycles in Normal Heights. More than 20 Pedal Ahead e-bike riders were in attendance to have their e-bike checked and adjusted, and while they were waiting we had Barbarah Torres of Bike Clairemont run through a number of safe cycling tips. Our Young Adult Education program highlighted some of the internship and mentorship opportunities with the Adams Avenue Business Association and how the bicycle industry is looking to train a number of mechanics due to the incredible uptick in business due to the 2020 bicycle industry boom.
